Succession of SPG ChairAfter an election within the Service Provider Group (SPG), Phil Crowcroft (ERM) was elected as the new SPG Vice-Chair and became, as such, a member of the Steering Group (SG).
As a result, Rick Parkman (AECOM) stated into the chair position of Arthur de Groof (SWECO). These three gentlemen will present the SPG in the Steering Group until mid 2018. Thanks go to Saray MacKay (ERM), who has moved on and has left the SG. Thanks go to Sarah MacKay (ERM), who has moved on and has left the SG. NICOLE Emerging Contaminants Working Group ReportThe working group Emerging Contaminants is led by Tomás Albergaria last year, the working group successfully contributed to the workshop in Manchester, and cooperated with other networks like Concawe. Welcome to our new (SPG) memberA very warm welcome to our new member Mares S.r.l!
Mares has got 110 employees with a turnover of about 15M€. Mares was born about 20 years ago to carry out various services, like construction, rebuilding, decommissioning and maintenance of gas stations.The headquarter of Mares is in a town near Naples (San Giorgio a Cremano), and they also have two offices in Rome, one in Florence and a small one in Pescara. In 2008 an environmental unit was founded into Mares, and it covers environmental services on gas stations and hydrocarbon depots, as site assessments, risk assessments, due diligences, and remediation, with related waste and wastewater management.
